Marike Emery has produced
award-winning one-off documentaries, short drama, lifestyle
and informational series television. Marike is currently
in production on the third season of neat, a lifestyle/reality
hybrid series. The series airs in Canada on HGTV and
in the U.S. on Discovery Home Channel.
In 2003, Marike completed a one-hour documentary for CBC
Rough Cuts entitled Once Upon a
Journey, which aired in
February 2003. In collaboration with Christa Singer, Marike
also produced an arts documentary Samuel
Bak: Painter of Questions for TVOntario and Bravo!, SCN, Knowledge Network
and VisionTV.

Awards include Gold Remi from WorldFest Houston, 2005;
Best Short Television Film at the Jewish Eye Film Festival
in Tel Aviv, Israel, 2004; Gold Special Jury Prize from
WorldFest Houston, 2001 and a Silver Prize also from WorldFest
Houston, 2000.
In 2003, Marike was chosen as the first recipient of the
Warner Bros. Entertainment Banff Mentorship Award and her
work was celebrated at the Banff Television Festival.
