| Jackie and Sim, both previously married, have
merged two adult lives into one 60-year-old semi-detached three
bedroom home. While it is small, they could live with their own
clutter until the birth of their daughter – but now they
must streamline their environment. The two problem areas in the
house are the upstairs office – too much paper, too little
space – and the basement, which houses Sim’s extensive
book collection, the album collection of his youth, his videos,
and toys he played with as a child. Hellen works with Jackie
and Sim to purge the basement and turn it into a hip yet kid-friendly
space. She also shows the couple how to manage files and information
in their home office.
