Unfinished
projects and tasks pile up and become overwhelming. The trick
is to put time aside
to complete them. It’s as simple as getting out your
day-timer and giving yourself a deadline.
Tip: Break each task or project
into bite sized pieces. Don’t set unrealistic expectations and give yourself plenty
of time. If you have a project or a task that will take four
hours to complete, schedule in an hour each Saturday for a month.
That way you won’t feel intimidated when your first Saturday
arrives and put off completing the project again. Chances are
that once you’ve begun, you’ll get into the swing
of things, spend more time on your project and finish sooner
than expected.
Using a Space Saving Crunch Bag:
Crunch bags are great for small spaces, especially apartments,
because they smash into a flat disk for easy storage and are
sturdy and easy to clean. Keep one next to your coziest reading
spot and discard newspapers and outdated reading materials into
the bag which expands as it fills up. On recycling day, simply
empty the bag, crunch it back down to size and begin the process
again.
