Bev
cannot let go of the urge to accumulate: she's a self-professed
garage sale addict and an obsessive collector of free cast-offs
from family and friends. Her home is now overrun with second-hand
furniture, useless items and random knick-knacks. Bev’s
beloved craft room is bursting at the seams and the master
bedroom, a haven for old furniture and unfinished projects,
is now a battleground between her and her husband. In this
episode, Hellen helps Bev put a stop to her hyper-collecting.
She teaches Bev how to differentiate between what she buys
for comfort and what she really needs. Hellen sets up a streamlined,
functional craft room that helps Bev focus on her crafts and
she gives the couple back their bedroom with a his and hers
organizational system that provides the order and calm they
so desperately need.
