If you don’t use it, don’t keep it – donate it

Your trash might just be someone else’s treasure.

•  Unwanted cd’s, dvd’s, videos, magazines and books make for a great donation to schools, hospitals or libraries. Find out what charities in your local area will accept donations – so your used media won’t end up in a landfill.
  
•  Furniture and clothing can also be given away to grateful recipients – research local shelters and women’s groups as they often accept donations when helping people to set up new apartments and find new jobs.
