to Avoid Over-Stimulation
A bedroom should be a place to relax and unwind at the end of
the day. Over-stimulation often makes that impossible and can
even inhibit deep, restful sleep.
- Avoid using harsh bright colours
like red for the walls. Opt for soothing blues and greens
to foster a sense of serenity and relaxation.
- Visual clutter like piles of laundry, books, magazines
and papers scattered around the bedroom acts as a constant
reminder
of all that’s left undone and makes it impossible to
wind down for the night.
- Try to keep computers and work-related items out of the
bedroom. It’s important to maintain boundaries between
your personal and professional life.
