How to Arrange and Display a Collection

Showcasing your collectibles can be a nice decorative touch in your space. However, your treasured collections can quickly become a mishmash of clutter. Your collection should be compact and confined to one area, being spread all over results in a clutter mess instead of a collection of treasured items.

• Limit your collections by establishing themes for the decorative items.
  
• Keep a common theme to the collection. If it does not belong in the group, and doesn’t have a home elsewhere, it’s time for that item to go.
  
• Group your collectibles: When they are grouped together it creates a powerful visual impact.
  
• Keep your collection confined to one area, such as a display cabinet or shelf; this prevents “spill over” of your items into other parts of the room and is child-friendly.
